Green Light Films is the only distributor in Iceland specializing is indie films from all corners of the world. With it’s impressive track record of recent years it has gained a valuable statues in the mind of the Icelandic audience, as a brand name to be trusted.

Green Light will focus on building a strong, longlasting and trustworthy relationship with a group of active film enthusiasts, as well as attracting a wide group of people to the cinemas again, by offering films not available before, in a different way and in a different environment. We will also build a productive relationship with handpicked sponsors, both media and corporate, that will make it possible to promote our films in a powerful way.

The whole look and feel of The Green Light will be different. All our promotion materials and ads will look and feel different, so our target group will be instantly and absolutely sure that we are talking to them, and nobody else. Our website will be our most important marketing tool, where a community will develop around our films. We will reward our members all the time.

With the combined efforts of our partners, both home and abroad, we will raise the quality of the movie going experience and broaden the selection and variety of films on offer in Iceland.
